Terms of Service

What to expect when you book a move with Blue Jean.

How we price a job

Two ways to pay: run the hourly clock — $155 covers two movers and the truck, $215 puts a third mover on it, with a one-hour minimum either way — or settle on a flat rate before the date. Any number we give you is only as good as the details you share; what you actually pay follows the real inventory, how easily the crew can get to each door, and the time the job takes.

Booking, and if the date moves

  • Nothing is locked until we email you a written confirmation
  • If your plans change, the sooner you say so, the sooner that slot frees up for another family
  • Unless we have put something else in writing, the balance is settled the day the job wraps

Coverage and filing a claim

Every shipment travels with released-value protection at no charge, set at $0.60 per pound; ask and we will add a full-value plan that covers cargo up to $1,000,000 on a single shipment. On any move that leaves the state, federal rules give you a nine-month window from the delivery date to file. In-state work runs under our California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) authority, interstate runs under US DOT and MC credentials, and the company carries its bond and insurance across all of it.

Your side of it

Have everything boxed and staged the way we mapped out, flag the fragile and oversized pieces up front, and carry cash, jewelry and important papers yourself instead of loading them. Something here unclear? Call (888) 278-9005.
