Movers in Coronado, CA

Coronado means the bridge, the Navy and the beach. Between NAS North Island PCS moves and the HOA condos along the strand, every job here has its own gate or paperwork. We handle both.

The owner picks up, not a call center

Ring the office and you get Cole, or a mover who actually rides the trucks — never a scripted script-reader. Flag the long canyon-lot carry up from the street, the La Jolla building that wants a certificate of insurance, or the Pacific Beach block where parking is permit-only, and the day is mapped out before your date arrives.

Your price is set in writing first

The number comes off a room-by-room walkthrough, with the wardrobe boxes, moving pads, dollies and shrink-wrap already folded in — so nothing new shows up on the bill once the crew is parked at the curb.

Pack it all, or only what breaks

Turn the whole kitchen over for dish barrels, let wardrobe cartons lift your closet across on the hangers, or just point out the mirrors, TVs and glass tabletops we build fitted crates around for the drive.

One crew, first door to last

The crew chief who sizes up your home at the estimate is the one driving the truck and walking the empty rooms with you at the end — a North Park bungalow, an Oceanside beach apartment or a downtown Gaslamp high-rise on the freight elevator, nothing changes hands halfway.

Coronado is its own world across the bridge. A lot of our work here is Navy — sailors and officers PCSing through NAS North Island, where the move runs on gate access and a report date. The rest is beach cottages and HOA condos along Orange Avenue and the strand, where the building wants a certificate of insurance before anyone touches the elevator.

  • $155/hr for two movers and a truck, $215/hr for three, one-hour minimum
  • Base-gate clearance for North Island PCS moves arranged ahead
  • HOA certificates of insurance and elevator holds set up by Priya

Tell Priya whether it’s a base move or an HOA building and she’ll get the right paperwork filed first.

Moving to Coronado — common questions

Can you get onto NAS North Island for a PCS move?
Yes. North Island moves are routine for us. Priya arranges the gate clearance and the crew's access ahead of your date, and Beto schedules around your report window so nothing's waiting at the gate on move morning.
My Coronado condo association needs a certificate of insurance before movers come — can you send one?
Every time. Usually the same day you ask, Priya draws up a COI in your HOA or management company's name and books the elevator, so the window is nailed down before the crew even crosses the bridge.
Is the drive over the Coronado Bridge going to add to my bill?
The bridge crossing and travel time are figured into the estimate up front, not tacked on at the end. We plan the route to miss the worst of the bridge traffic so the crew arrives on schedule and the day stays on the clock we quoted.

How Your Move Day Unfolds

  1. 1

A written number the same day

On our end: Tell us the room count, whether it is a street-level carry or a haul up from a canyon-lot curb, and how parking looks on your block — and a figure in writing usually reaches your inbox before we lock the office for the night.

Where you help: Have both dates in hand, the day you are out and the day you are in, plus any gate, garage or HOA access codes; that is what turns a ballpark into a firm price.

  2. 2

    Date locked, access sorted

On our end: Before move day we reserve the loading zone or pull a parking permit, hold the elevator window at your condo or high-rise, and clear the certificate of insurance with your HOA or building office — so the truck lands at the door and nobody carries a dresser half a block.

Where you help: Give us the two anchor dates — the day you have to be out and the day you can get in — and flag which of the two simply will not budge.

  3. 3

    Pad, wrap, label, carry

On our end: Every dresser and sofa goes under moving blankets and a layer of stretch film, and the hardware off each bed frame and table is bagged, labeled and taped to the piece it belongs to.

Where you help: Mark your own boxes with the room they land in at the new place, and keep passports, keys and small valuables in your own car rather than on the truck.

  4. 4

Unpack the truck, room by room

On our end: The crew that filled the truck is the crew that empties it — every piece landed where you want it, bed frames reassembled, and all the spent wrap and tape carried back out with us.

Where you help: Before the truck rolls, walk the emptied rooms with the crew chief while anything that needs a touch-up still can get one.

What does a San Diego move actually cost?

Send over the size of the home, the date you are aiming for, and a rough idea of what is coming along, and a written estimate lands in your inbox that same day. No deposit and nothing due up front — just a number solid enough to plan the whole move around.

  • Licensed and insured — we carry California Public Utilities Commission household-goods moving authority on jobs inside the state, and pick up US DOT and MC authority the moment a load crosses the California line
  • The figure you approve is the figure the crew works to — it comes off a real room-by-room count, not a number guessed from the street
  • Each mover wears our uniform, is on our own W-2 payroll, and drives a company-owned truck
